What the price is for

Most CRMs charge you for software and leave you to build the automations. The $397 is for the automations already built, on your number, tuned for how a pool route runs. You send a logo, a phone number, and a Google Business Profile link. Three business days later the missed call text back is live, the quote sequence is loaded, and the review request fires after every job. You never open a workflow builder.

It's one price on purpose. Per-user pricing punishes you for hiring a tech. Tiered pricing hides the feature you actually need on the plan above the one you bought. Pool companies have been burned by both, and I ran one, so PoolCRM has neither.

PoolCRM pricing vs. Skimmer, Pool Brain, and Jobber

These aren't the same product, so the prices aren't really comparable. Skimmer and Pool Brain are route software. Jobber is general field service software. None of them are built to answer your phone. But owners ask, so here's the honest table.

The right read of that table: keep Skimmer or Pool Brain for the route, and add PoolCRM for the phone. Together that's about $450 a month for a one-truck company, and it covers the two things route software never will, getting the customer and keeping them.

The math on $397

$150
Typical weekly service account, per month
1 account
recovered from a missed call covers 40% of PoolCRM
3 accounts
a year covers all of it. Most customers pass that in month one.

A weekly account is worth about $150 a month, and closer to $6,000 over its life once you count repairs, referrals, and what a buyer pays for it when you sell. PoolCRM only has to recover three of them a year to pay for itself. A pool company that misses four calls a week in season is losing more than that in a month.

Pricing FAQ

How much does PoolCRM cost?

$397 a month, flat. No tiers, no per-user fees, no add-ons, no setup fee. Your first month covers the setup. Month to month, cancel any time.

Is there a contract or setup fee?

No contract and no setup fee. Setup is done for you and takes three business days. The first month's $397 covers it. If you cancel in month two, you owe nothing further.

Are there per-user fees?

No. Add every tech and office person you have. The price is the same for a one-truck company and a ten-truck company.

Does PoolCRM replace Skimmer or Pool Brain?

No, and it isn't priced to. Skimmer and Pool Brain run the route for $49 to $55 a month and do that well. PoolCRM handles the phone, the quotes, and the reviews. Most customers run both.

Why is PoolCRM more than Jobber or Skimmer?

Because it does a different job and it's set up for you. Jobber's review requests are a $39 a month add-on and missed call text back isn't included at any tier. Skimmer doesn't do either. PoolCRM includes both, plus quote follow-up, and you never build a workflow.

What if it doesn't pay for itself?

One recovered weekly account at $150 a month covers 40 percent of the fee. Three a year covers all of it. If it hasn't paid for itself in 90 days, I'll tell you to cancel.
